(Web Desk) – The fabricated news regarding Mohammed Shami, the Indian fast bowler, and his marriage to tennis player Sania Mirza – which were clearly untrue – have ultimately compelled Shami to express his true feelings.

Just a month prior, numerous posts appeared on social media featuring doctored images of the athletes’ wedding, following coverage from various news outlets.

Sania’s father has already refuted the rumors, stating that they had never met, let alone married.

“This is all nonsense. On June 21, Imran Mirza told the reporters, “She hasn’t even had the chance to meet him.”

According to well-known Indian media outlets such as ‘Masala, Times Now, and Zoom’, Sania and Shami were supposedly planning their wedding for August 20, 2024.

Shami found it odd to receive a call and see his own photo with someone he had never met.

“I think memes are supposed to be amusing, but when they involve real people’s lives, one should be very careful when making them. People spread such information from unreliable sources and get away with it,” he commented.

He advised, “If you have the courage, then speak from reliable sources, and then I will believe you are a decent person,” he added.

He offered guidance to the trolls, saying, “First, work hard, achieve success, elevate your status, and then you will be seen as a good person,” he concluded.
