Luanna Alonso Kicked Out of Olympic Village For Inappropriate Behaviour

One of the standout athletes at the 2024 Olympics, Paraguayan swimmer Luanna Alonso, has been removed from the official athletes’ village following allegations of creating an “inappropriate environment.” Launa Alonso made her Olympic debut in Tokyo in 2020. According to Everyday Mail, Alonso, who completed 6th in the 100m butterfly and barely missed the semi-finals, declared her retirement from swimming in a virtual entertainment post to her 500,000 Instagram devotees.

Despite this, she remained in Paris, prompting the Paraguayan team to remove her from the village.

The team said that Alonso’s behaviour was the reason she was taken out, but they didn’t say what kind of behaviour it was.

Since then, Alonso has shared a video on Instagram that seems to show that she has returned to the United States, where she is a student. As the Olympics enter their final week, her departure occurs.

Alonso has already made significant career strides despite only being 20 years old. She has participated in numerous international competitions and made her Olympic debut in Tokyo in 2020. In spite of the controversy surrounding her retirement announcement, Alonso received praise for her contributions to the sport from colleagues and fans.
