Kate Beckinsale posed in a leather jacket of her late father gifted by her godfather!

Beckinsale, who turned 51 on July 26 turned to her Instagram account on Thursday and dropped pictures featuring her late dad’s old leather jacket.

“Ah my god I sobbed . @davidjohnbradley1, my godfather and my dad’s best friend gave me the most special birthday present I could have dreamed of,” she wrote as caption.
Her post further read, “My heart hurts from being so full. That this dear friend loved and cherished his best mate’s jacket for 45 years and then gave it to me.”

The Underworld star also shared a note that Bradley wrote along with the present.

The star’s post included an array of throwback videos with her father during a television appearance prior to Richard Beckinsale’s demise in 1979, where he appears to be wearing the same jacket which she captioned, “I remember the feeling of being lifted up in his arms as he was wearing it.”

“Bless you Dave. And thank you thank you thank you,” she added.
